Hello From STOCKHOLM!!!
WOWEE we have been busy these past few weeks! We’ve been writing in the studio with some of the best pop writers (the people behind a lot of the Steps songs and the people who wrote Hero for Enrique Iglesias!)
It has been such a fun experience and we are keeping our fingers crossed that some of the songs we’ve written will go on the album! We did some writing sessions at a place called Metrophonic and it was the nicest place ever (nearly as good as Mike Stocks house!!). There were tennis courts and a swimming pool and brilliant studios all in one place!!!!
We feel so so lucky to be able to go to these amazing places to work on our album! Then we were flown over to Stockholm in Sweden to carry on with recording some of the tracks for the album!! We have been here for nearly a week and it is so much fun! We are working with Quiz and Larossi, 2 Swedish producers and they are AMAZING! We have had the best time ever recording this week and we are sooo happy with the songs that we have been doing! We just hope that we can bring back the pop music that we feel the UK has been missing! On a funnier note - or rather not so funny for me (Sarah) - whilst getting overzealous in the studio happily boogie-ing to one of my favourite tracks from the album I decided it would be a great idea to do the old 'stand on one leg and hold your other ankle and dance like a maniac' move and hurt my back! LOL! The producers thought it was hilarious as did I (Sean) while I (Sarah) have decided I need to get more practice at such a difficult dance move!
LOL!!!!! Well that’s the latest gossip from us! We hope that you are all well and that you have got your entries in for the Haribo competition! We are sooo excited about going to the factory now!
Have fun in the Sun (but wear sunscreen!!) School is nearly over for summer!!!! YAY!!
