Sean and Sarah proudly launched a £1.3 million appeal for Teenage Cancer Trust in their hometown this week.
The launch took place at Southampton General Hospital, where the Teenage Cancer Trust hopes to build a specialist cancer treatment centre for teenagers and young people with cancer. The centre will be the first of its kind in the South of England, and will provide teenagers with some of the best cancer facilities in the country.
Speaking at the launch, Sean said:
‘It’s great we can support something so close to home. Any funds raised will make a real difference to young cancer patients locally.’
Sarah added: ‘We’re really proud to be supporting Teenage Cancer Trust and launching such an important appeal in the South East. We visited the charity’s unit in London recently and saw what a difference it makes… We’d love to see the money start rolling in so teenagers in the South can have facilities like these too. Every penny counts towards the £1.3 million TCT need so please give generously.’
